Florence Koya

Florence Koya is an experienced caregiver who first joined Family & Nursing Care Classic’s registry in December 2022. Originally from Nigeria, Florence believes her calling was to help people and make a positive difference in their lives.

One of the ways Florence tries to make an impact on her clients is by bringing an upbeat attitude and putting a smile on their faces even if they may not be in the best of health. Helping clients enjoy life regardless of the situation is something she takes great pride and joy in. At the heart of her approach to clients is to create a strong bond and pleasant atmosphere.

When it comes to offering advice to fellow caregivers, Florence believes it’s critically important in this profession to have empathy and be selfless. She always tries to go the extra mile for clients and make a lasting impact despite the sometimes challenging circumstances.

Outside of her caregiving responsibilities, Florence enjoys traveling, reading books, and listening to music, especially classical music. She also loves being social with others and making home-cooked meals. Additionally, she believes it’s important to take time to rest and stay active by going to the gym, which helps her meet the demands of the job. Above all, Florence always strives to improve and continue to learn, which helps her be the best version of herself.
